A Year of Change...

Southern Utah University resumes class tomorrow. Neither Kevin or myself will be there. Kevin graduated last semester and I earned an Associate of Science degree. I decided that if I am ever going to go to hair school, now is the time.

I start Evans Hairstyling College on January 13th. I am so excited and a little nervous. I don't know what to expect and I have been hitting the books for so long it will be weird to study with scissors.

So, if you are feeling brave and want a cheap 'do, come see me :) I will keep you updated when it starts.

New Years Resolution...Keep In Touch!!!

This is my goal...Let everyone know whats going on in Utah :)

Its Christmas eve and I am putting off packing. We are heading to my mom's for Christmas. This is the first Christmas in 3 years...as long as Kevin and I have been together...that we are with my family this year. I am very excited to watch Zion, my 2 year old niece, open her presents. I miss the Patrick side this year and it feels weird not to be in Moorpark for chili and tamales tonight.

Kevin graduated (with honors) two weeks ago and received his Army commission as a second lieutenant. He is currently on the hunt for a job so if anybody knows of anything in the legal/human resources/IT/civilian contracting/government services field, lets us know. I will post pictures of his commissioning ceremony as soon as I figure it out.
